The Plain English Speaking Award is one of the most prestigious public speaking awards in the state. This year, the College hosted speakers from Emmaus, Kingswood High School, Cambridge Park High School and Winmalee High School in the local Final of the competition. 📖🎤 We are proud of the outstanding efforts of Nicole T (Year 11) and Noah M (Year 12), who represented Emmaus as local finalists. 👏🌟 #PlainEnglishSpeakingAward

We are immensely proud of our Intermediate Girls Year 9 and 10 Football team for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2025 Wanderers Fives CSDP Football Tournament! ⚽🏆 Their remarkable journey through the season, going undefeated, is a testament to their skill, determination and teamwork. Their hard work on and off the pitch has not only earned them the title but also brought great pride to our school community. To commemorate ANZAC Day, our College gathered to reflect upon the sacrifice of service personnel who fought for freedom and world peace. 🌹 Our students commemorated ANZAC Day through prayer, reciting the Ode of Remembrance and the poem, “We Shall Keep the Faith”. The community participated in one minute of silence and reflected upon the symbols associated with ANZAC Day. 🙏 “They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.” Lest we forget. 🌹🤍

It is with a heavy heart that we join the global Catholic community in mourning the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. 🙏 His life was a testament to compassion, humility, and unwavering faith. In the words of Bishop Vincent Long, “Pope Francis showed the rest of us how to find God’s love and how to show God’s love. He will forever be remembered as a champion of peace and humanity.” 🤍 May he rest in eternal peace in the arms of our Lord. 🕊️

✝️ EASTER SUNDAY 🙏 Today, we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection - He has risen! 💛 Jesus’ resurrection represents hope and new life symbolising the triumph over death and the promise of a new life in Christ. “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him’” - Matthew 28:5-7.
