⭐ STUDENT LEADERSHIP INDUCTION CEREMONY ✨ This morning, we celebrated our annual Student Leadership Induction Ceremony. We have some biologists in the making! 🧬⭐ Recently, Mrs Payne and Ms Prasad’s Year 11 Biology students ventured to Kamay Botany Bay National Park in Kurnell to conduct fieldwork. During their visit, students observed patterns across the ecosystem, investigated how tides contribute to the abundance and distribution of certain species, used quadrats to collect data to analyse different species, and tested a range of abiotic factors to better understand how non-living components contribute to the health and balance of the ecosystem. 🐋🌊 Our students did an amazing job of being scientists for the day, solidifying learning conducted in biology classes! 🧑🔬 Great work, Year 11! 👏 #EmmausCatholicCollege #STEM #Biology #LearninginAction

📖 LITERACY AND NUMERACY WEEK @ EMMAUS ✨ Last week marked Literacy and Numeracy Week; an annual celebration of reading, writing, and numeracy! 📐✍️ Throughout the week, the College hosted a number of activities ranging from TED Talks, rubik’s cube challenges, daily maths challenges, and blackout poetry.
