🧡 EMMAUS CELEBRATES HARMONY WEEK 🧡 Next week, our community will celebrate Harmony Week, recognising the diversity that makes our community so special. ✨ To celebrate the message that ‘Everyone Belongs,’ students are invited to come to school dressed in their cultural attire on Friday, 20th March, proudly representing their heritage and the cultures that make our community so vibrant. We can’t wait to celebrate! ☺️

🧡WORLD’S GREATEST SHAVE ✂️ We are beyond proud of Year 12 student, Angelina D and our staff members, Mr Pincevic, Ms Battah, Mr Edwards and Mrs Cooke, who took part in this year’s World’s Greatest Shave campaign. 👏 Raising awareness and vital funds for blood cancer, our Emmaus community rallied behind each of these brave members as they collectively raised $4,474. These funds provide families with accommodation, financial and transport assistance, access to treatment and the necessary funds to support research projects. 🙌 We would especially like to thank Lauren from the World’s Greatest Shave fundraising team, who visited our College to witness the event and speak about the importance of this initiative to our school community. 🧡 Well done Emmaus. 🥰 #EmmausCatholicCollege #WorldsGreatestShave

☀️ SWIMMING CARNIVAL 🏊 What an incredible day at the Emmaus Swimming Carnival! The pool was filled with energy, determination, and plenty of house spirit as our students competed in a range of events throughout the day. From thrilling races to enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines, it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved and supporting one another. 🙌 A huge congratulations to all the swimmers who gave it their all in the pool, and a big thank you to our staff and volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly. Recently, Year 12 Biology students visited the University of New South Wales to consolidate their theoretical learning. 🧠🦠 During their visit, students explored the complexities of infectious and non-infectious diseases, learning how epidemiology tracks and manages diseases in human populations.
