We wish our Year 12 students good luck as they sit their English Paper 1 HSC exam tomorrow! ✨ Our Leader of Learning for English, Ms Lathouras, has some words of wisdom for our students: ⭐Breathe! ⭐Read each question carefully, calmly, and look for all of the clues in the question to create your response. ⭐ Put a timeframe at the start and end of each section, reminding yourself of how long you have to do the task to ensure you can answer ALL sections by the end of the exam. ⭐ Be proud of what you have achieved. As we prepare to welcome back our students for Term 4 tomorrow, we remind our community of the following student expectations. 🏫 Students must: 👔 wear their full College summer uniform, 💇 adhere to College uniform and grooming expectations, 🏃 only wear sports uniform on prac days and Thursdays, 📱 switch mobile phones off and store them in your school bag from 8:35am to 2:55pm 🪪 bring Student ID and Opal cards to school, everyday, and 💻 ensure your device is working and is fully charged. ⭐ EMMAUS HOUSE CUP 2025 🏆 Towards the end of Term 3, Mamre House was crowned as the 2025 House Cup Champions! 👏💚 Congratulations to Mamre House, who performed extremely well across all sporting events, and shone in the classroom. 🌟 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT 🌟 Congratulations to Year 12 student, Max M, who received his Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance! 🤩👏 Max completed his Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance with the ‘VET in Schools’ program through NSW Health. This program provides students with the opportunity to complete vocational education and training whilst completing their HSC studies, combining theoretical learning with practical, on-the-job training and structured work placements across health facilities within the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. 🧑‍⚕️ This qualification will support Max as he seeks to enter the health industry next year - well done Max! 🎓🙌 #EmmausCatholicCollege #VETinSchools #NSWHealth

Last week, our Year 12 cohort enjoyed a week filled with farewell celebrations. 🧑‍🎓✨ On Monday, they enjoyed a day at Western Sydney Parklands, soaking up the sunshine, and spending quality time as a cohort. ☀️ Before their Graduation Mass, Year 12 students attended their final assembly, reading messages from staff members, listening to heartfelt speeches, and reflecting upon memories from Year 7 to Year 12. Afterwards, students from Years 7 to 11 lined the Emmaus Road to congratulate our Year 12 cohort as they walked the Road for the last time. 🥰 Congratulations, Class of 2025. We wish you the best of luck in your HSC examinations and future endeavours. 🎓 YEAR 12 GRADUATION AWARDS CEREMONY 🏆 On Wednesday, we officially farewelled our Class of 2025 at our Graduation Awards Ceremony. ✨ During the ceremony, graduates were presented with their Graduation Portfolios, hearing speeches from our College Principal, Mrs Gabriela Osterlund, Year 12 Leader of Wellbeing, Mr Alex Petrocco, and 2025 College Captains, Gardinia G and Noah M. Afterwards, we presented first place in course awards, and prestigious major awards. 🎓YEAR 12 GRADUATION MASS 🙏 What a beautiful night we had celebrating the Class of 2025 at their Graduation Mass. ⛪ Emmaus families, staff, and graduates joined together for Year 12's final Mass at the Holy Spirit Parish, St Clair.
