Students from our Year 12 Ancient History class recently spent the day at Macquarie University, immersed in all things history! The class was given a private tour of the university's museum before having time to explore on their own. Afterwards, they attended a lecture on the latest conservation issues at the sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Following a quick break, the class then participated in a mock archaeological dig where they needed to analyse real artefacts to piece together the life of the person whose remains had been found at a dig site. We all had a wonderful day and learnt so much for our core HSC topic!
As part of our commitment to keeping students safe, all volunteers and contractors are required to complete the building child safe communities child protection training module and form.
