Thank your teacher!

World Teachers Day is an annual event held to celebrate the vital work of teachers in educating children around the world.

This year, we’re asking students to take a selfie with their teacher and tell us in 25 words or less why you think your teacher is great.

Enter the competition online and include your name, grade, school name, teacher name, photo and caption (25 words or less WHY your teacher is so great). Please ensure you ask your teacher’s permission and tell them about the competition, before you take a photo.

The winning entry will be posted on the CatholicEdParra Facebook page and Twitter feed in the lead up to World Teachers Day on Friday 28 October. The winning student will be announced on World Teachers Day and presented with a $200 iTunes voucher. The winner’s teacher will also receive an iPad mini!
